In the modern era, political changes reshaped the Arab world. The Great Arab Revolt occurred in the early 20th century. This movement helped dismantle the Ottoman Empire. Following these changes, the Arab League was formed on 22 March 1945.
Today, the Arab community is diverse in many ways. While about 93% of Arabs are Muslims, many others are Christians. There are also Arab groups belonging to the Druze and Bahá'í faiths. Arabs have contributed significantly to many fields of human progress. They have made major impacts in science, technology, and medicine. They have also influenced philosophy, art, architecture, and even cinema. This wide range of contributions shows the deep influence of Arab culture on the entire world.
